Majlis Vault is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your luxury assets' data is handled with the highest level of security. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

1. Zero-Knowledge Encryption

Majlis Vault uses End-to-End Encryption (E2EE). Your sensitive data, including asset serial numbers and private notes, is encrypted on your device using keys that only you control. We do not have access to your decryption keys or your encrypted data.

2. Information Collection

We collect minimal information required to provide the service:

• Account Information: Email address used for authentication.
• Usage Data: Metadata about your interaction with the app to improve performance (e.g., crash logs).
• Asset Data: Publicly observable information (brand, model, category) used for smart cataloging.

3. Data Processing & Smart Features

Majlis Vault uses advanced image analysis to provide automatic asset categorization. When you photograph an asset:

• The image is securely transmitted to our analysis service provider (Google Cloud) for transient processing.
• Processing is limited to identifying publicly observable characteristics (e.g., brand, model).
• Images are not stored permanently by the analysis provider and are not used to train machine learning models.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We only share data with third parties to the extent necessary to provide the app's functionality. Our primary partners include:

• Cloud Infrastructure: Google Firebase is used for secure authentication, database management, and hosting. (Google Privacy Policy)

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You have full control over your data. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings menu. Once deleted, your data is irrevocably removed from our production servers.
